Young kid, fun to be around. Loves baseball, and plays the game with intensity. He's not at all intimidated playing against older competition, but respectful enough to listen to veteran players.
I don't want to pump up his tires too much but in a limited sample, Bean was spectacular. He turned a lot of heads. If he keeps his nose to the grindstone, a lot more people will be hearing about him. It will be fun to see him through a full season.
